Coffee Prince Cebu

Filipinos love Koreans. Movies, songs, and telenovelas are well-liked by Filipinos, and I think that blatantly show how the Philippines is admiring the Korean culture. Now, Korean-themed cafes are also available in the country such as the Coffee Prince that is situated in Cebu City, the Queen City of the South.
Coffee Prince serves a broad range of refreshments such as frappes. They also serve coffees with blends. The café is not just Korean-oriented because they have put a little twist on their menu by adding Mexican snacks such as nachos. And because it’s Coffee Prince, who knows? You might just find your prince in this café.

Opened in 2012, the Dolce Café intimidates other boutique cafes with their pad of white chrome and glass. Aside from the classic-modern touch of their shop, what’s more being visited this café is their delicious fares and goodies. Some of the cakes that you must try are Oreo Brazo (Classic Brazo de Mercedez with Chocolate for a twist), Choco Triffle (a very chocolatey mousse), and Smores Cake. Moreover, people love the buttercakes in this café (available in three majestic flavors: classic, mango, and ube). All these cakes are a perfect match to a cup of coffee.

A Little Piece of Sky Café

Doesn’t everyone love to be in the cloud 9? Perhaps, you’d love to visit a little piece of sky in Cebu. The ALPS Café (A Little Piece of Sky Café) will take you to the heaven with their delicious pasta and desserts. They also serve milk teas and other refreshments. The atmosphere of the café is relaxing and very calm. Perhaps, it is ideal for reading or having small conversations. The interior is very artisanal with the musky smell of books as you enter the establishment. Every Friday, they play foreign movies to entertain guests.
According to a source, ALPS is somewhat difficult to find because it hides behind a parking lot. So, you have to search for it (which, with no doubt, will surely be worth it). ALPS is also closed for renovation for the time being. Will update you once the café is open.

Café Racer

Boutique cafes are today’s trend, but nothing can beat the vintage, American-style diners. And frankly, diners can rarely be found nowadays. But happy, there’s this diner in Cebu that mimics American diners in the late 50s and 60s – small cozy place with tasty snacks and cold beer. Café Racer is a U.S Diner-themed snackette that serves good food in a great place at a reasonable price.
One of the things that will grab your attention is their vintage-feel interior that mostly consists of vintage cars (and parts) with an old garage ambiance. There you can enjoy eating outdoors or indoors. They have a very broad space that can accommodate a lot of epicures and gastronomes. The interesting thing I found is the gasoline station that functions, except that, it does not spew gas, but cold beer! Isn’t it awesome? They also have a Volkswagen camp van as a cashier section that looks so rad.
The food, they are quite typical, but still, they are good enough to fill your starving tummy. It’s an excellent place for friends and family.

This diner has red and black theme making it cool and fancy for all sorts of eaters. Bikers are most welcomed in this café. They have an outdoor space to let guests enjoy the air. Most bikers visit this place at 6 PM onwards where the café serves a bucket of beers and a pulutan(beer match) for only Php250 (approximately $5).
Oppa Café

And here’s another Korean-themed café that invaded Cebu and attracted several food crawlers, the Oppa Café. The café is jam-packed mostly by students from the nearby universities. Oppa Café is frequented in three reasons: accommodating Korean servers, Korean-style interior, and deliciously aromatic milk teas and coffees.
